CAMERA OBSCURA
These images were taken through the use of a camera obscura also known as a pinhole camera. The views seen in these images are scenes offered by our rooftop. My personal favorite would be the one in the middle. I did not know that using this makeshift device would be able to give me a view of the Sun without bright sun rays blocking its actual shape. It was a few seconds of excitement and amazement for me. However, I had to capture the image with my phone a few inches away from the hole as when I take it closer the shape of the Sun is not as clear.
THE DEVICE
This is what my pinhole camera looked like after following the instructions our professor gave us. We made use of some household materials mainly: tissue roll, aluminum foil, wax paper, and tape.
It looks like a telescope that a kid made for fun but when I tried using it to see what images it can present to me I was really amazed.
